      What in the blue hell...

Anyways, this is talk that should've been kept internal IMO. If Magic wants to rip into them, do it in private. He's part owner of the team. It just doesn't look good. You can basically iron Kobe's #8 Suns jersey, burn up GPs deal and tell Malone to shove his $1M contract if/when they lose.

As players, they deserve a tongue-lashing because their "genius" coach never scolds them for their shortcomings, only bitches to the media about foul calls.

But, this definitely looks like the last run for the Lakers as we now know them.

Magic shouldn't be ripping into Malone and Payton.

He should be ripping into The Big Lazy aka Diesel with a dead HEMI.

GP needs to make some kind of impact. Doesn't matter if it's offense or defense, but he needs to do something. As for Karl, at least he's trying the best he can to his VERY LIMITED abilities at his age and injured status.

If Magic Johnson really want a 9th ring, why don't he throw away his tuxedo and put in his old number 32 jersey and take the point. There is an old saying that say's " if you want things done, do it yourself". Or he could fire Phil and coach the team by himself and see if he can do better.

Bring back Showtime . The Lakers were great in the beginning of the year when they threw the Triangle out the window and just ran the floor.
