So David Stern has the power to rig a playoff game? Did the Pistons agree to go along with it? Or is David Stern just going to say "Its over the Pistons gave up" as soon as the Lakers get the upper hand like what happened with Bret Hart?

THAT WAS HEINOUS!!! I'm still bitter over that one and Stern if you do that Sheed will punch you in the face in the lockeroom after the game. As for this gurantee for winning garbage. That's what it has become. Messier's in hockey was bold, so was Broadway Joe's but now its so cliche everyone thinks that they can gurantee victory.President of the Devils Den

This is why I had lost my respect for NBA a few years ago, when Jordan was still playing. And it behooves me as to why people think like this, and think its justifiable. Its stupid that you have to be a star to get certain calls. How the heck are you gonna become a star if you have all this working against you?
Tell me this? Is a foul not a foul? Why is it fair if Olawokandi goes to the basket and gets hacked by Shaq and theres no foul. Versus if someone seemingly approaches Shaq when he goes up, and its a foul. At the sake of saying alot of stuff that refers back to my main point I will simply ask.
Is a foul not a foul, no matter who commits it? And this is actually a rhectorical question b/c the answer is "Yes"
<hr /></blockquote><font class="post">
I think superstar calls are like if kobe airballs it and it was a shot well within his ability, and tayshaun is really close to him, the refs look at that and knowing kobe as a superstar will assume that he was fouled because they have that knowledge of him. Thus, its about the officials being familiar with you rather than you wont get that call because you aren't a superstar.Comment

If he didn't, the LA Times writers should all be smacked upside their heads. They have tendencies to lie on players, mostly not Lakers, but reporters do it alot. If he did say it, then why not just play instead of keep talking.
I am still bothered by his interview after game 4. It was very strange to me. Then this prediction thing. Something is fishyComment
