ok...lemme explain this one last time:
during their 19 game losing streak tracy avg 25/6/6
in the game that they snapped the streak, number 20, tracy had 19/11/9
do you see the MF'in difference...when you do everything...wins will happen...so dont gimme that bull**** of how this guy sucks that guy is wack...tracy is the captain...his job is to make everyone better...why couldnt he do that for 19 straight games...get off the high horse and look at the facts...he is as much to blame as anyone else

I'm sorry, but dude is right ^.
People are acting like TMac was some great defender prior to last year and just didn't bother because they were losing. He has never committed himself to the defensive end, just like Vince Carter.
I'm not putting 100% blame on him because the Magic were losing. But he needs to shoulder a good deal of it.
I agree with HMcCoy. TMac just doesn't have that killer instinct. It's not a knock because that may just be his blase' personality, but he doesn't have it.
He may want to win, but I don't think he has that "it" that makes you want to put that dagger in another team.
Hopefully Van Gundy can light a fire under him.
<hr /></blockquote><font class="post">
How can you put a dagger in anything with the team he's been on. He has held up his end of the contract he signed. He isn't a defensive wonder, but actually people claim Kobe is the D god not Mac. Mac played great D in Toronto, but in ORL he needs to work on it. He will under JVG. He needs a coach to puch him in that area, and one that stresses D, which I don't see how you think you can improve on anything with Johnny Davis as coach.
He can play D, but most of the time in ORL, he was so tired from carrying the team, that by qtr he'd be spent. No excuse to play D lacksidasical at times, but anyhow the entire Magic situation is a messed up dela to be in for a single star anyway.Comment

u gotta stop bringing up this 0-19 because that happened only once
tmac in his career by himself isn't 0-19 so comparing him 0-19 and kobe 5-12 isn't fair because tmac by himself led a horrid team to the playoffs 3 years in a row, for 3 years he was over .500 by himself. the lakers with kobe and no Shaq are still way below .500Comment
