This was most definitely a bad trade for Orlando. But they were able to get something out of nothing, with TMac most likely leaving after this season.

And what is up with all this "Now the Magic have a PG" crap? Alright, the Magic have a point guard, BUT NOW THEY DON'T HAVE TRACY MCGRADY! I still think TMac and Jameer Nelson is better than Steve Francis and Cuttino Mobley. Yes the Magic needed a PG, but not like this.

Oh well, I gotta live with it. Gonna save up for my Jameer Nelson jersey. And my "Fire Weisbrod" T-Shirt.

You have to think about the rest of the team too. With keeping Nelson and T-Mac, they'd still have the Curse of Juwon Howard (team plays below potential), they'd still have no outside shooters, they'd still have no shot blockers in the middle, and they'd still have a losing record because you can't win games when you don't have shot blockers or outside shooters.

That's because management dealt them away. They probably would've been better last year if Mike Miller was still there, along with Armstrong, Garrity, and possibly Giricek. Having Hill would've helped too.

Im going to miss T-Mac's excitment, but thats it. Im not gonna miss his whining, his lack of effort on defense "because he carries the load on offense" BS, His lack of not showing up in big games in the playfoffs, and his predictions backfiring (ALA,Puppy Dog, The hornets series, and the detroit 3-1) McGrady is a great player, but I think this team needs a change in the new direction and we have a great start with Franchise,Cat and Cato.

That wasn't this GM though, that was the last one, and he was fired because he made these lousy moves. Weisbrod is forced to work with what was given to him. I did notice that you still haven't mentioned any shot blockers, and now they have Cato.

According to Dick Jerardi, Nelson will start next year. Pat Williams told Dick that they drafted/traded Jameer on the fact that they wanted him to start for them. They plan on moving Steve to the Duece and having Mobley come off the bench. This is just according to on of their front office guys. Of course the final decision will probably go to Johnny Davis.

Miracles that may save the Magic this season:
1.) Dwight Howard has a Lebron-like rookie season.
2.) Deshawn Stevenson breaks out, and proves why he was drafted out of high school.
3.) Steven Hunter decides to practice, and plays to his defensive potential, as well as developing some sort of inside game.
4.) Pat Garrity stays healthy and returns to his 2 years ago form.
5.) Grant ankHill comes back, and even if he was 80% of what he used to be, will still be very, very good.
6.) The "Orlano" Magic (No D) decide to not be the worst in the league in defense.

                        Amen.

                          Amen.

Mobley is a cancer. He will be starting. No way would they put stevie at the 2 so they can start Jameer. Mobley is stuck up stevie's arse and would cry if that happened , so college fans dont start dreaming.
The only way Jameer starts is if he gets traded or Francis or Mobley gets hurt.
Mobley would be a very good 6th man or maybe the best 7th man in the NBA , but he is a wannabe star.
Its sad because cutino has the talent of a starter, and sometimes makes great plays , but overall he is a selfish bastard. He just has a very annoying personality the more you pay him attention.

He was clearly an instigator in the stevie francis /Ming Yao relationship.
Mobley could probably actually be valuable on a talented team in which he was not one of the first scoring options and didn't have much say in the pacing of the offense and was called upon more as a defender and 3pt shooter and only a main scoring option with the 2nd Unit/bench team.

most people don't notice about Mobley but i am sure Houstons coaching staff and Ming Yao were glad to rid themselves of him. Steve Francis needs to recognize that "Cat" is not a guy that he should be linking his career with much longer.

(there u go - real insider info that you will not likely hear from your media sources, and you didn't even have to pay espn.com extra money (and most of u probably think i am talking b.s. anyway but who cares if it were b.s.
we are all here to chew the fat anyway))
