Worst rumor I've heard all summer. Why would LA want Walker and Houston or whoever else is on the Knicks????

They can get 10x better for Shaq then that trade.

That would be awesome to get Shaq. This offseason is going to be fun anyway with all these big names flying around and most of them have been connected to the Knicks. But, this is most likely just a tease because we have nothing good to offer a team and we are over the cap so all we got is the MLE to offer.

Why was it not a good move? Mavs would get a trade exception in return worth $14.625 mill and for a guy who singlehandedly ruined the team's chances of winning.

Probably Othella Harrington, Mutombo, and Shandon Anderson. Those are the rumored names to be going to Charlotte IIRC and that is what would work salary wise for a trade.

Definitely not Houston. He is banged-up, the most overpaid player in the league, and plays the same position as Kobe demanding a lot of shots. Walker, Tim Thomas and Kurt Thomas sounds more likely to me. Maybe Penny instead of TT. Remember Shaq used to be teammates with Penny? I heard their relationship was worse than Shaq/Kobe. I dont think they'd want these two playing on the same team again.
