Yup. Not worth it at all. Dirk is UNTOUCHABLE. Trade the other players- Finley, Walker, Jamison, but not Dirk.

OK, that's just plain silly. Two above average players for the best center in the league.

The only acceptable trade would involve Dirk, Steve Nash & Jamison.

No other trade within the western conference would be acceptable to the Laker organization.

Why take Finley when Kobe is the teams 2 guard? Anyone that has seen A Walker play knows there is no upside to him.

Finley & Walker for Shaq. Yeah right. Heck, why no just send Bradley to the Lakers for Shaq straight up. Even trade.

I would do that deal YESTERDAY. Heck, I'd do it for just NASH, HOWARD & JAMISON. Fortson would be a nice addition.

while i love this deal, I'm pretty sure they would have to include Payton to make salaries work. Also that might be asking a little much. Nash, Dirk, Fortson, and Howard would be very accpetable.

Take Dirk out of the equation and substitute Howard & Fortson.

IMHO, it was just announced on extra sports 690 (
you can listen live here ) that 11 deals are on the table for Shaq, and the Dallas deal does NOT include Dirk, which I'm ok.

They did announce an even better trade that would involve Shawn Marion & Amare Stoudamire for Shaq. IMHO that would be the best deal for both teams. Every other offer presented to the Lakers should take second place to a deal with Phoenix.
