JR Smith, out of St. Benedict's HS in New Jersey!

**sighs** Amazing...all these damn draft trade rumors every one of them has legs instead of which ones...that's right, THE RUMORS INVOLVING THE SIXERS!

Why I say JR Smith will be picked 9th by my Sixers? Well first of all, I find it highly suspicious that one of the Sixers' scouts is former Duke great Bobby Hurley. Nice guy and all...but uh...where does his legendary high school coach of a father, Danny Hurley, coach at? St. Benedict's HS. How conveeeeenient.

Oh oh oh...let's not forget Jim O'Brien is in love with this kid. Everything he said about him makes Smith out to be the next great thing. Yet when hometown legend Jameer Nelson worked out at PCOM and abused Ben Gordon, made him look so silly....Ol' Jimmy Boy is like "Meh...he's good but he's not a top 10 pick....".

I am absolutely petrified about this draft. We are going to do absolutely NADA DAMN THING...but to sit on our thumbs and draft this high schooler. Now JR could possible turn out to be a lethal player...but he won't be anything this next season!!!

Which begs the question...Why are we drafting a high school guy for our future...and yet ALLEN IVERSON IS STILL GOING TO BE ON THIS TEAM? I don't care what Iverson's personal butt-squeezers aka the AI Homers want...he is not our future. You cannot and should not rebuild this team around a broken down player. Move him to the point guard spot, you say? HE'S NOT A POINT GUARD. I want to see a set offense ran by this team for once. This isn't happening with AI at the point.

Ok, I need to close this because I wanna go crazy and pull my hair out because my team doesn't want to get better.

FireBK.com will be put up after the 9th pick is announced.

    <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

i swore it was St. Anthonys but maybe he coached there b4?

    <hr /></blockquote><font class="post">

It's Danny Hurley, the younger brother, that coaches at St.Benedict's. Bob Sr. coaches St. Anthony's. My fault.

Of course, somebody always wants to correct me

they need to trade AI. I am saying this as an AI supporter because this team is goin nowhere and fast. They have no one else the could move besides AI which means no immediate help. I wish they would do what the magic are doin with T-Mac and trade AI to a contender. They are so worried about tickets sold that they cant see the team is AI and a bunch of scrubs (with the exception of KT and maybe Dalembert). Willie green is improving and i feel will have some serious game in the near future. I wish they would trade AI for a couple of players and just rebuild. AI, Snow, and Mckie are not gonna get it done especially when compared to teams that have a combo of billups, rip, and prince or kidd, kittles and RJ!

Welp...maybe I need to retract everything I said.

Sounds like if we stay at #9...we won't pick JR Smith...but rather Kirk Snyder. That's a hit in the head. I actually like him. Not a bad pick.

But there is also a rumor about The Mavs maybe dealing Michael Finley along with the #5 to the Sixers for Glenn Robinson and the #9,
