seriously because it's not set in stone that kobe is coming back, and it would take a miracle for shaq to be playing with the lakers next season.

the west is getting stronger and the lakers look to be getting weaker.

even if kobe returns, the lakers depending on what they do this summer might just be on the outside looking in come playoff time next season in the NBA.

I agree with J the lakers could easily not make the playoffs next year but they wont be trhe worst in the league by far.

Shaq is gone give it up laker fans he aint playing, and if he doesnt get traded he will be hurt all season.

Just bringing over allstar talent doesnt mean they will make the playoffs in the west or even get
along together.

Kobe aint Jordan he wont command the respect of allstars to keep hogging the ball, look at what
happened last year, payton, shaq, and malone complained about that!

whoever LA gets may just not play hard to teach Kobe that its a team game, it has happened many
times.

What player at the top of his career would want to go to LA to be part of KOBE's "rebuild my image
by trying to be mike show"?

Without SHAQ Kobe is Vince Carter often injured whining and still popular so forget what im talking about he will be fine!

yes aftr today's news that Buss will comply with Shaq, then I can accept it. But seriously with KObe and some talent from most likely TWO different teams, then I doubt that they will miss the playoffs. It will be tough to do with SAS, SAC, DAL, HOU, PHX, DEN, POR, UTH, and NO but LAL will still be better than at least Portland and New Orleans and depending on what they get back Utah.
