    Re: depending on

Shaq has a big problem with kupcake and Jerry Lush. He don't want to come back. Now I don't think Kobe feels the same way about Shaq as Shaq does about him truthfully. Kupcake should be relieved of his duties as of yesterday.

      Re: depending on

i'm not in denial. I realize that there is a very VERY slim chance that both will leave but like I said, it is more realistic that Tomjanovich will work something out with the two. Yes Shaq hates Kupchak but Rudy is the one who will be callin the plays and be on the floor with him. If he takes a likeing to Rudy T then I bet he will recind his demands. As for Kobe, he is actually friends with Buss and unless Clips move to Anaheim or something, I just dont think he would actually leave.

I didn't want to bother starting a new thread so fom NBA Insider Rumors: Shaq has his list of teams and It seems that Buss has decided he will trade him citing reasons of Shaq never working out in the summer and coming into camp in horrible shape. His teams are the Heat, Mavs, Kings, Blazers, Magic, Hornets, Pacers, and the Grizz. Insider reports a deal being worked out with the heat of Lamar Odem, Brian Grant, and a Number 1 for Shaq. Lakers want Wade included but that is not going to happen. Shaqs agents have reportedly been shooting down some of the lakers deals. Stat wise it is actually a very even deal. And considering that because LA's backs are up against the wall they were expecting to get less than equal value, this is a good deal for both sides.

                  Re: depending on

Heat wont trade ODOM. As I said before, Kupcake should have kept his mouth closed from the beginning, and he wouldn't be in a position where he has to trade Shaq and get "lesser" value. He lowered the value he'll get back when he opened his mouth instead of privately doing it as a business man should.
He should'nt have promised Shaq to take care of him if he recruited the Milkman and GP, and then after it's done he talks openly about trading the guy. I'd be upset too.

DA said it best in his chat today...The Shaq trade will probably involve 3-4 teams...It's the only way the Lakers can get equal value...Cause the Kings won't give Bibby, the grizz won't give Pau and Miami won't give Wade, nor should any of those teams touch those players...

seriously because it's not set in stone that kobe is coming back, and it would take a miracle for shaq to be playing with the lakers next season.

the lakers could be looking at a lineup of gary payton and bunch of scrubs, if that happens the lakers would be looking at the worst record in the league.

the west is getting stronger and the lakers look to be getting weaker.

even if kobe returns, the lakers depending on what they do this summer might just be on the outside looking in come playoff time next season in the NBA.

Do you think that the Lakers are just gonna trade away Shaq for some grass and a nickel?
