    Ballmer is a gif machine.

Thunder might be better in the long run. Perry Jones III confidence must be through the roof right now.

We're two games into the season and I already can't stand the national commentators doing our games. Whenever we have a nationally televised game I'll watch it on ESPN/ABC/TNT instead of MSG - that's going to change this year.

Mark Jackson, Barkley and Reggie were embarrassing the last two nights and so OD (and so wrong) about the triangle. Between going away from it, sticking to it, it's isolation elements, to "you need players" blah blah blah...

First time I've ever muted a basketball game - and that's saying something given how many awful announcers we have in the pro and college game. The Mrs came into the living room and asked if there was a problem with the speakers.

Side note...that Cavs' D has a loooooooong way to go.

Miami was 9-8. It'll take time.

That's funny that you muted it, I did the same thing! Barkley was ridiculously stupid, none of them had a clue what they were talking about and were annoying the hell out of me. I watched basically 3 quarters on mute, and it was great!

I actually think games should be broadcast without commentary. The commentary has a way of influencing what you're seeing on the screen so guys like Barkley, Reggie, etc. etc., all have a bigger impact than they should on you.

That's just my view and I'm sure people will disagree, but it's so much better to objectively watch the game without ridiculous commentary that can really only negatively affect my view on the game!

On a positive note. I liked the Kyrie Delly traps. I think LeBron and Marion will get a few steals from that. Also caused an 8 second violation, which didn't get called.

I didn't get why they were hating so much on the Knicks last night. Was ridiculous. You shoudn't have to deal with that kind of subjective BS when watching a bball game.

That's why I was rooting for Mark Jackson to find a coaching job over the summer. I'm happy to know that someone else feels the same way about Reggie, he always rambles onto some tangent and keeps talking about things that have nothing to do with the game or with the 2 teams that are actually playing.

Barkley needs to stay in the studio because that's where he is great. In the studio, it's easier to keep things light and to focus on a bigger picture. In game, you need somebody that can focus on the smaller picture and pick up on all of the nuances of the game as opposed to is this team good enough to do X, Y and Z.

The best analyst TNT has right now is Kenny Smith but there is no way they should take him out of the studio. I was really hoping they could find a way to bring Doug Collins back but the timing was unfortunately off.

The best in game analyst on National TV are Doug followed by some order of Hubie Brown and Van Gundy. Chris Webber and Greg Anthony aren't bad but they don't deserve to be in the conversation with the 1st 3 I mentioned.

I DVR'd the Cavs Knicks game because of work and will watch some of it over the weekend, what's the over under on quarter and time in which you think I should mute the TV by?

Just came back from the barbershop and they were all saying Bulls Blew out the Knicks, and the Knicks beat the cavs, so tonight's game should be a piece of cake for the Bulls.

Just sat there shaking my head.

Tonight won't be a cake walk, but I'm pretty confident the Bulls will win. I don't think the Cavs are good enough as a unit to take the Bulls just yet. Blatt neglected going to his bench and they suffered because of it. I think the Bulls second unit is going to be the key.. That and for whatever reason LeBron is more interested in playing point guard as opposed to scoring. He was kicking the ball out to the wings when he could've been going up for a higher percentage look himself a ton last night. That won't be too effective over the course of the season.

The biggest difference tonight should be the defensive abilities of the two teams but who knows. I'm going to watch a lot of Bulls game this year to enjoy the Noah/Pau combo. What a throwback pairing.
