Isn't this the same Robert Horry who said he doesn't have to worry about hearing "some big guy" whining about getting the ball after he left L.A.

I could have sworn that during the season that quote came up everytime Shaq was talked about in a topic.

My, oh my, how things have changed. One day people bash Shaq for only using his "fat" to score, how he has no talent, how the Lakers got lucky in the signing of Gary/Karl, and how he doesn't care about the team, and the next day the same people praise Shaq's dominance, ignore how his contract single handedly destroys any team's chance at signing quality players, and marvel at his recruiting abilities (vice versa when it comes to Laker fans).

Horry said he never played with two of the biggest ball hogs in the NBA.

Shaq is why GP and Karl came not Kupcake.

Complain about his contract all you want, but Buss is the one who wagered it to him. He also got it before the cap fiascal started.

I think his passing is underestimated too. Overall skill like an Akeem the Dream he does not have. He has elbowed and bodied and shouldered players out of the lane, off the tv screen and out of bounds because he's 400lbs plus.

The cap is going to be lowered. The NBA has a hard time pulling in revenue. The next tv contract will be lower, thus player salaries and the salary cup will be lowered as well.
