    Re: Dampier to Knicks???

damps last yr was better than othella and nazr combined...erik is 30, naz is 27...big deal, make the deal for the better player and inside force

how they pull off a vince deal, ray allen deal, or jamal crawford deal...is beyond me at this point...but zeke can make it happen

Isaiah wants him because of Allan's on and off injury situation last year. His age is a plus, but, his shot selection is horrific.

My good ness..His contract is horrible and it'll be paying him somewhere in the 16 mil range by the time he's 36...

There is no way VC goes to the Knicks for the players you've got...There would have to Dallas in that deal or just not include the Knicks at all since they'll "give anyone outside of Marbury"=GARBAGE.

Vinceanity, you may not want to admit it, but Isaiah has shown a way to get some deals done. Who knows how he does it, but he just does it.

You keep knocking the Knicks left and right but last time I checked-

the Raptors did not make the playoffs last year
            your franchise player wants out
you had the strangest Top 10 draft pick this year

The Knicks' "garbage" players are being shipped out and we're steadily building through the draft. The Raps "garbage" players are in the starting lineup and chewing up payroll.

            Thank you very much.

It was the first time that Allan played less than 77 games in a season. If that is his reason, I think its a crappy one. Yes, Houston has a HUGE contract, but good lord, he's not a bum. I'd rather have him than Crawford.

You're crazy. Crawford has the potential to be an All-Star. Allan Houston has passed his prime and is just one injury away from being banished to Portland the way all the other players like him were (see Steve Smith/Scottie Pippen/Detlef Schrempf). Jamal has the chance to come in a be a 20+ point scorer and play some PG when Steph needs a break. Thats not something you can say about H20. If Isaiah can land Damp and J-Craw I will hop on the bandwagon, b/c I think a lineup with Steph, Craw/H20, Tim Thomas, KT, and Damp can do some damage out in the East.
