    This man is a scrub

I'm still upset about it," said Thomas about the hard foul he took from the New Jersey Nets’ center during the playoffs last season.

Tim cannot let go of the foul and has even taken up boxing in the off-season to “toughen up.” The 6’10” small forward has been called soft in the past, but it seems he is determined to dispel that myth.

at least he isn't sitting around all summer. Maybe he'll focus more and come out and torch the East. If he does, I'll send the Nets a fruit basket.

I guarantee you that won't happen.

Tim Thomas is a guy who cried off and REFUSED to play when George Karl asked him to play some minutes at PF in one game.

                    Think about that.

His coach asked him to move up from SF for a few minutes and he actually got upset and refused to go into the game.

Even mild mannered guys like Ray Allen have called him a wimp.

He is the softest guy to EVER play in the NBA imo. Ever.

And he's got 5 years and 50 million to go.

sonofsiam, my point is that if this "incident" (which I think it was just a hard foul, nothing blatant) gets him motivated to get in the weight room and work on his toughness, it will only make him more durable during the season. So, if he wants to hold onto this issue and that motivates him to get out of bed and get down to the gym, then as a Knick fan, you can only be happy that he's at least trying to add some muscle and maybe that will lead to an improved season.

Hell, if Kurt Thomas never felt betrayed by Pat Riley and wanted to prove him wrong, would he be the double double guy he is today or would he be the don't want to get inside, shoot from the perimeter guy he was at TCU??
