but if he is looking for future cap space than in god's name, WHY would he have signed Foyle and Fisher to large multi year deals.

I'm not completely sure how I feel about this yet but the Knicks have offered Othella Harington and Kurt Thomas to GSW for Dampier. I think the the Warriors would accept this. It hurts the knicks to lose KT but to have a legitamate, shot blocking 5 and to be able to keep Nazr, I think this is worth it. Plus this opens up time for Sweets at PF and Vin Baker can still give some quality minutes.
Another update, I think the Crawford deal might be done for but the latest offer is Jamal, ERob, and JYD for expiring contracts of Mutumbo, Frank Williams, and Trybanski(sp) plus Shandon and Moochie. ALso the Knicks will pay for Moochie's first year(3mil). I just dont understand why the Bulls wont do this. Thy get three expiring deals, Mutumbo's experiance to help Curry, and only one year of paying for Norris. Yes Shandon Anderson sucks but they can take him when the Knicks are taking 3 huge deals. I'm still prayin that the Bulls accept but I dont know if they will.
to the Knicks have a lineup of
Marbury - Penny - Arzia
Crawford - Houston
Thomas - Erobb
Sweetney - JYD - Baker
Dampier - Nazr
that is a top 3 in the East team.
and let me just say that if we have to give up KT that I would much rather give him up for Dampier than for Antoine Walker
<hr /></blockquote><font class="post">
Ariza is a SF who can play the 2. He's a 6'8" slasher, not PG.
Again, not a peep from me until any deal is done or off the table.
