He's actually 30. Moneywise it may not make sense, but it could work out on the court. For the Nets they were looking to him to score. When he was with the Suns and Dallas, all he had to to do it give the ball up. So since he wont be relied on to score too much, he doesn't have to dominate the ball like he did in NJ and save his knees. And yeah, if I was a Laker fan, I rather have him than GP at this point

I'm getting sick and tired of every key free agent being talked about going to the lakers. What's with this laker fuss? What do you need to stop this media attention on the lakers? A destruction of the team forever? lol

Anyways, I don't know if Kidd can last on the lakers, I mean he's still the best pg in the league (POINT GUARD that is), but in his old age and injury prone status, I don't know if he will be any better than payton was last season.

At this point... with the players demanding to be traded this off season, Kidd being a Laker is a godd posibility... perhaps not the best, but a move toward showing that opponents will have to deal with not only Kobe, but Kidd as well. It will be interesting if the deal is worked out, but, will it be good for the team? Will Kidd accept playing the role of robin, to Kobe's Batman.
Or will he tick him off and end up asking for another trade before the year is over.

kobe wants to handle the ball more , i doubt they bring in a point guard that needs the ball so much like kidd.

no kobe wants to shoot the ball more not bring it up court which would be perfect because kidd could get him so many easy looks
