Harden is playing one hell of a season so far. 27 7 6 and winning team, simply MVP material so far.

LeBron is not putting the numbers I'd expected from him TBH. Still he is probably the best player on the league and I truly believe he is not playing at 100% intensity, he's somehow reserving himself.

Curry is other guy playing great basketball.

Anthony Davis should be included no matter what. The guy is a beast. Although to truly win this award he should make his team make the playoffs at least.

I'd add someone from Portland but cant decide whether it should be Lillard or Aldridge.

Wall is on a rising team and having a great season so far. He's in my list.

Marc Gasol. Curry is good but doesn't have the impact defensively that Gasol does. None of the other players have the defensive impact that Gasol does. He's by far the top two-way player out of all the candidates (with Anthony Davis a somewhat close 2nd).

I know some dudes thought I was crazy for saying Jimmy Butler should be the early favorite for MVP, but here's just another stat backing up my claim:

Anthony Davis is averaging less turnovers a game than Butler is... His TO% is lower as well.

Davis is not a wing player. Pretty tough to commit a ton of turnovers down low and in the post. Davis is a beast and should be in the running, no doubt.

He's doesn't handle or have the ball much either.. Gets tons of kickouts from Reke and Jrue.. Saw a stat the other day, like 73% of his field goals are assisted on..

That stat is non sense. LeBron is the distributor in Cavs, as much as I can like Butler, he does not distributeat LeBrons level. Naturally he will have less TOs. Good work by him nevertheless.

In the past 30 years only twice has the MVP been on a team lower than the 2 seed..

Which means as of right now..using the top 3 seeds from both conferences my MVP list would be:

                          1. Steph
                          2. Gasol
                          3. Wall
                          4. Lillard/LMA
                          5. Lowry

Butler is assisted on 63% of his compared to 41% for LeBron. Butler is more like Davis than LeBron in terms of how often he's creating.

It's Harden's and really not close to me at this point.

2nd in PER among players who have played 25 games or more, highest WS percentage, top scorer, is contributing nearly 45 points per game in points and points created off of his assists which is tops in the league and as of a game or two ago had the best individual defensive rating in the entire NBA.

To me its steph. The dubs team is at times clueless without him on the floor. Marc is 2nd, harden 3rd. Then lebron westbrook davis lillard and aldridge in no particular order, oh and wall probably is top 4.
