Yeah, I agree 100% with what you are saying. My only point is that if the rest of the guys are bigger than the nation that they should be representing, then I don't want them over there. I would rather have Lebron James, Allen Iverson, and Tim Duncan representing our country. Guys who love the game, and want to represent us. Of course Iverson don't like practice though :y4:

I don't know, I just would rather have guys who want to represent over there, than make a player feel obligated to go.

And that is why I support the team that is over there 100%. Major props to them for having their priorities halfway where they should be.

But that is still no reason to let the aforementioned off the hook for having their worldview way out of whack.

College means getting to class on time, and doing your homework, it means having discipline and a willingness to learn. Something most of this team doesn't have. That's why they didnt' go to big time colleges (Barring Omeka Okefor).

Melo left after a year, AI left after 2, Lebron was too stupid for college, Sean Marion went to UNLV post Tarkanian.

Except Tim Duncan, most of this team is worthless and couldn't function in a league that didn't have paid off refs that don't call travelling or fouls or 3 seconds in the key or double dribbles, or over and backs, etc. etc. etc.

Uconn would just DOMINATE this "Dream Team" in the olympics because this "Dream Team" is a bunch of overpaid uneducated gangster wannabes.
          wow, what a garbage post.

getting to class on time and doing homework???? how many top college b-ball stars do you think do either of those? and no, graduating from duke's BS degree tailor-made for athletes doesn't count.

and no, uconn wouldnt beat this 'dream team', they would get molested.
