Great performance from the Mavs to comeback late and then dominate in overtime. Parsons was a monster in OT, scored 10 points out of his 20 for the game.NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers
NBA: Dallas Mavericks
MLB: Texas Rangers
NHL: Dallas Stars
NCAA: Alabama Crimson Tide

Portland pretty much fell apart the last 3 minutes of that game and OT.
They missed almost all of their FTs and started chucking 3s instead of taking it in.. and when they went to LaMarcus, Tyson Chandler played some pretty darn good defense on him and either prevented a shot or had him traveling or something....
I turned the game on as soon as the momentum shifted and it was swift, and Dallas never looked back. Feel bad for the Blazers but they couldn't match that intensity.... even with Lillard having a chance to win at the end of regulation, no idea why he had to chuck a 3 when it wasnt necessary.Comment

Re: 2/3 - 2/9 Games Discussion Thread
I think the biggest thing with the Kevin Love offensive "struggles" is that everyone pretty much expected a Kyrie/Love or LeBron/Love pick and roll to be deadly.. Problem is, or at least what I've gathered watching, is that Kevin Love seems to have no idea how to roll. He wants to pick and pop everything, and never really creates any sort of mismatch.
But other than that, the main thing is just time. Miami had problems up until Wade basically let LeBron take the lead, Bosh became comfortable with less touches, and LeBron started being LeBron and not trying so hard to make everything "mesh".. This team is having the same sort of issues for the most part. I actually think Love has done a very good job of accepting less touches and it not effecting other parts of his game.
Seems like the answer is get him more touches, get him started inside early.. Only problem with that is the more you run directly through Love the less you run through LeBron, which has a trickle effect on everyone else LeBron directly impacts.. Like the night and day difference with JR for example. But a few of us here were bringing up these issues before the trade even happened, so it's not as if it was completely unexpected.
I think the best thing Cleveland could do is let Love work the high post area.. He can set lots of screens for Kyrie or LeBron from that area, he can face and pass, face and score, step out for shots, and I think if LeBron would post a little more often they could have a nice inside-out mix with Love in the high post area. I don't really like Blatt pulling him 30 feet from the basket all game every game. Even if he is a good shooter, a stand still catch and shoot guy was never his game, and it's not beneficial to anyone else on the court.

Gil, Tawn and Butler all played a role in the Wizards playing how they did during those years.Wizards/Bullets put Antawn Jamison in the alumni for our team..I know he had problems towards the end there, but really think Gilbert Arenas should've been in before him..Gil is the one who put DC back on the map after many down years..and if it wasn't for a guy name LeBron James, might've gotten us to the finals a couple times, hell might've had one
Plus the way his tenure in DC ended didn't do him any favors otherwise he'd be in there.#RespectTheCultureComment

Blake Griffin is out 4-6 weeks to undergo surgery on a Staph Infection in his right elbow. I'm assuming Damian Lilliard will take his spot on the West All Stars.#RespectTheCultureComment

Dammit!!!
I just over-payed for him in my fantasy league too (gave up Drummond & Dwight).
Guess Lillard is now a lock for the All-Star spot.Comment

They announced it at halftime that he was getting the position.
I don't know if anyone is still paying much attention to this game but does it look like to anyone else that the Clippers players are trying to avoid passing the ball to Austin Rivers?[NYK|DAL|VT]
