the ACC is pretty aesthetically pleasing. It's got some pretty good sitelines and it's the most accessible arena in Toronto sports history with its subway link.

Originally posted by NYJetsI don't want to bring this thread too much off topic, but I've always heard this, but when you watch the games on TV, the Garden always sounds so quiet. Does it just not come off well on TV or what?
When you watch on TV, with the broadcast view, it seems that no one is even in the crowd because all the lights are shining on the court. Almost like the court is a stage.
But it gets really crazy.
Unless you're directly behind one of the baskets, there's really not a bad seat in the house.
Plus, it may be one of the few arenas where we cheer the opposing team/player if he's in a zone or just that damn good. I remember being at a Clippers' game when the Clips just turned it into a slam dunk contest against us, and the entire crowd just started rooting them on, regardless of how bad they were beating us. We definitely appreciate effort.Comment

Re: Best Looking Arena
I think thats part of it, they just love basketball
Reminds me of when INdy beat the Jazz in Utah, and the fans gave the Pacers a standing ovation (back when Stockton and Malone played for the Jazz).
and the TV doesnt do a lot of arenas in sports justice, wether is be b-ball or football, the atmosphere sometimes cant be captured on TVComment

Re: Best Looking Arena
I like how the United Center looks. The top of the arena, it's got that neat design and it looks huge on tv, but I'm sure it's just another arena size-wise.
The MSG also looks cool, and it's very classic. I hope they keep it like that forever or atleast fix things up that need to be fixed in that arena to make the arena last.
The spurs shoulda kept the Alamodome. I like it when bball teams play in Dome's, sometimes you can attract crazy crowds with binoculars....MJ and the Georgia Dome.Comment
