If anything it's nice to have Celtics games to watch in late February that actually matter. Even more so with baseball far away and the Bruins struggling.

Believe it or not the acquisition of Isaiah Thomas has sparked a buzz around here. Casuals have started taking notice and caring again.
If you ignore the record, they have actually been doing some pretty fun things up there.

Stevens is quietly rebuilding a team that has an offense predicated on sharing the basketball and believe it or not they are actually one of the better passing teams in either conference and have one of the best AST/TO ratios in the NBA and are second in % of points assisted on.

Their obvious flaws are that they don't have a true go to scorer and they struggle defensively but Brad is doing some exciting things that are going under the radar. Boston fans have much to be optimistic about.

Stevens has certainly proven to be as advertised if not better. What he has managed to get out of this team as assembled gives me hope for the future. Things have certainly advanced in the right direction a season sooner than I expected.

You're right about defensive struggles and the need for a scorer/finisher. Hopefully Danny Ainge can find a way to address some things via trade in the offseason. Want to see what Stevens can do with a deeper, more talented roster.

I still think Boston is an attractive market, my only qualm is that they might have to overpay due to them not being contenders at the moment.

I like a few different guys for them. I think Wes Matthews would be a great fit. He fills a need on both ends on the floor. Maybe not a top tier scorer but has the ability to light it up if given the opportunity.

And other piece I would really like for them is Nikola Vucevic. Gives them a true post presence and a much needed rebounder, and then allows Olynyk and Sullinger (if he can lose weight) to split more time between the 4 with Jerebko and Randolph coming off the books. If you don't like that option, you can still bring back Bass for the right price and still have much better depth in the front court.

Going to be interesting to see what they do.

Not too bad this Clarkson guy. He's the only bright spot of this season for L.A. and he's learning fast.

Not bad fits at all.. I wonder if Al would consider going back to the team that drafted him?

I would pay more for Vucevic, he's a better rebounder, more well rounded offensively, and probably a stronger defensive threat. But Al is still only 30 years old, and having a guy who you can consistently get the ball to on the block to get you points negates a lot of other offensively liabilities.. Memphis still doesn't have a go-to perimeter guy, and hasn't for the past few seasons.. This Conley/Lee/Green trio is by far the best they had, duo low post threats in Sully and Al could help negate not having a true go to guy.

Al doesn't help any of their defensive woes at all though.. I like the Mathews and Vucevic options..

Wouldn't be surprised to see them draft Cauley-Stein to try and have a rim protector off the bench. Possibly not sign a big if they feel like Olynyk or Zeller can be a serviceable starter.

Depending on how long this "rebuild" phase lasts I think Myles Turner would be a great pick for them as well.. I think he'll be a very good player in the league, but he seems like a project right now to me.. Might take him a few years.

Warriors at Cavs... Could be a preview of the finals tbh.

I feel like this needs to be said every game. Steph Curry just ain't fair man. I wish for just one day, hell I'll take a hour where I could shoot like him.

Warriors are carving up the Cavs defense so far. Luckily for the cavs the warriors have been missing.

Wish the refs would let them play through the contact a bit more. All these calls are messing with the flow of the game.
Also, I can't help but think the Cavs could be even better, if there weren't so much dribbling and isos.

Great game so far, but the Warriors are getting a lot of no calls lol

EDIT: After Lebron's crazy shooting..It's only a single digit game

Seeing Barbosa still playing made me go to YouTube and watch his stuff from his Suns days. Forgot how good he was and how fun he was to watch on that team.

Dude also lived up to his nickname as the Brazilian Blur on the court too.
