He'll be back in the NBA if he gets fired lol. Because an owner or GM of some team is going to look at his resume and go "Hmmm, if he did all of that there, then he could possibly do it here too so I'll bring him in".

Happens all the time. ALL the time. The NBA is a league of 2nd chances especially when it comes to Coaches.

I have a great offense?
I am a master motivator?

I can get the best out of the young guys?

Maybe a team looking to tank would knowing how mediocre he is but nothing actually serious.

Definitely agree with this. I already said, once he finally gets the axe in OKC, he's gonna have his pick of teams. If there's one thing the NBA will never run low on, it's retread coaches. **** Vinny got two jobs.

He doesn't have to say anything. His resume will speak to GMs for him. Worked for Mike Brown, worked for Mike D'Antoni, worked for VDN, worked for Averah and it'll work for him unless he says he's done Coaching.

None of those guys you named are there, nor will they be back anymore. They just got teams before people realized what was up.

Dantoni MIGHT have a chance if he decides to hire a defensive coach thats not inept but those others are assistant coach material at best.

Who said they would be back? I was naming guys that got 2nd-3rd chances in the league.

My point is regardless of what you or I think of these Coaches, the NBA is a league of 2nd chances especially for Coaches.

Once you get a HC you job you are guaranteed another one and a bunch of assistant jobs as well. GM's love hiring retreads.

Assistant jobs are tolerable, especially in Brooks' case since he now has lots of experience with different players and personalities.
