I care about Atlanta winning because I want them to come out of the East, but I'm likely not going to DVR any games or watch every minute of the series.

It's pretty clear that Atlanta is the better team.

If not for the Celtics making the playoffs, I would only care about Cleveland and Chicago eventually meeting. Hell, I bet a number of casuals only know the C's made it because of Cleveland. Can't blame anyone for not caring about most East match ups.

It was a solid game one for us, but we still have a ways to go. We went back to ISO ball with LBJ and Kyrie, which is fine in spurts, but hopefully it doesn't become a theme. Our defense wasnt that good as well throughout the game, really need to tighten up as we go through the playoffs. Kyrie and Love played great in their playoff debuts, its gonna be fun watching these guys in the playoffs.

Atlanta is going to win the series, no doubt, but they'll struggle.

It really is Cleveland vs Chicago for the East. Still wish the Bulls could have gotten that 4th seed, but oh well.

As for the Cavs, they played pretty badly. JR's shot didn't fall and he got into foul trouble, Love really only played one half, LeBron wasn't great. They are going to have to play a lot better against Chicago if they want to go to the Finals.

If Rose can play like he did in Game 1 for the entirety of the playoffs, we can beat the Cavs in a 7 game series.

Still trying to figure out where the hell that guy was all year long when he did play in the regular season. He was like a totally different guy on Saturday, mentally and physically.

More puzzling than anything else that he can look like a train wreck for 80% of the regular season, then all of a sudden have a game where he seemingly did everything right when he needed to do it.

I definitely hope it continues. That Rose gives us a real shot at a title.

You really think he looks that much different aside from hitting some 3's he would usually miss? I feel like I've saw flashes of this Rose all year long. Bucks have zero rim protection, so long as he is halfway aggressive he's going to have a big series. Obviously he had rough patches this year, but a lot of that was rust and taking too many outside shots, which he did again in this game he just happened to make more than usual.

Yeah I know it was, but I didn't see that type of aggressiveness and decision making all year. That was sort of my point.

He wasn't stopping and shooting contested floaters. He wasn't settling for long jumpers. Was moving the ball and making the right passes. And he was relentless, which we haven't seen in a long time.

There were a couple games this year Rose played well and showed some aggressiveness and good decision making, he just wasn't consistent and he was settling for too many out of rhythm long range shots.

You must have missed the Cleveland game before the All-Star break? There were a few games that this Derrick Rose was on display. The Philly game was another. There's been flashes all year. More than anything, I think he was trying to pace himself for the postseason. I think getting here was his biggest goal this year and likely the goal of the whole organization. Get through the year and just give yourself a shot at the playoffs.

I mean if that was him pacing himself during the regular season, I never want to see that **** again lol
