Tough loss. Think you gotta try to get it to Dirk there but Houston defended the inbounds pass and forced Monta way out. Not a bad shot for Monta to take but obviously it was well off.

Loved the fight though, loved how they battled back over and over undermanned and overmatched talent-wise. Much better than watching Houston throw lobs all game. Hope they can battle for pride in game 4 and try to win one more for the home fans but this series is done.

Want to see the Mavs sign some young talent in the offseason and try to develop instead of going for veterans to fill in the core. Aminu is the only free agent that I'd call a must to re-sign.

Only saw the last 12 seconds but was there any defense at all? 258 points combined in regulation is ridiculous.

Thank god! I think just like the Warriors/Pelicans, we took their best shot on their home floor and ripped their heart out.

In both games, the home team pulls it out and you have momentum to tie it up. This one's gotta sting.

My heart couldn't have handled over time, anyway. Great game.

I don't think he has that mentality. He has the talent to effect the game in nearly every aspect though.

Yeah he doesn't welcome the spotlight. But when Tim is gone and the team is officially passed to him, I don't think he'll have much of a choice. He'll be just like Tim. A quiet multiple x allstar and hopefully multiple x champion.

I know I'm probably the only one watching the Mavs press conference instead of the Spurs/Clips but Rick just went HAM on the refs.

"I understand they're a more physical team, but this game's gotta be played within the rules."
