Re: Blazers close to locking up Miles
I think it's fairly standard practice for Blazers players to get locked up, isn't it?Last edited by Skins4Life; 08-31-2004, 08:42 PM.Comment

Re: Blazers close to locking up Miles
uh oh...darius gets paid, SAR gets mad...
Nobody else is quite sure what to make of Miles, either. He's a streaky player and has yet to show discipline on either end of the floor or a consistent jump shot. More important, it opens the door for them to move Shareef Abdur-Rahim. The Blazers have said they wanted Abdur-Rahim to start at small forward, but Abdur-Rahim says he won't play there. And the Blazers are building around young Zach Randolph at power forward while also trying to get an extension done for him. In any event, there is plenty of confusion over their plan for the future and who they want to build around. But sources say Abdur-Rahim has no intention of coming to Portland in a month when the Blazers begin training camp. Anyone interested in an unhappy power forward with a one-year, $14.6 million contract?Comment
