    Re: 2015 Offseason Thread

I'm beginning to think LeBron is forcing Dan Gilbert to spend all his money so he can buy the team from him when he goes broke.

Is it safe to say lebron doesn't want to play unless you have backups for backups for backups

Frankly, I think the Bulls have enough talent to winning it all.

Cavs used part of taxpayer mid-level to sign Mo Williams. They will have $1.3 million of it leftover.
So they've got just enough money for one more move then?

Talent wise this should easily be the best team he's played on. We'll see how these dudes mesh, especially if they add Joe.. Could be a massive **** storm.

Crazy how loaded SA, CLE, and GS again will be next year.

The only thing Cleveland is really missing is that "x factor" type of guy who can sneakily have a big night. Green and Manu have been that for San Antonio, Iggy and Barnes have for GS, that's what Cleveland would get out of Johnson. That guy who is usually a 4th option be can potentially hurt you like a main guy any night.

I don't think they're gonna sign anyone else. Only changes to the roster now will be locking up Tristan, possibly resigning JR and Delly, and the Haywood trade. I don't think they'll use that 1.3 million. Just me though.

He's ok, I just don't think his shot is consistent enough to be a D and 3 guy.

He might be serviceable for a few minutes of defense a game, but I assume that if they land Joe he will log the SF minutes any time LeBron is out.

Didn't Mo Williams score 52 points in a game this past season? Lol I think he's exactly the guy you're describing since LeBron, Irving, and Love are 1-3 options.

I would say they already have that in Shump and Mosgov. As long as everybody is healthy, either of those guys can do that. Shump isn't really all that reliable as a scorer if you're depending on him to be like a second or third option or anything like that, but if Love, Bron and Kyrie are having good nights and then you're trying to key in on stopping them, Shump is a guy that can drop 20 to 25 on you before you know it. Hell, he just did it in the playoffs against the Bulls. Same with Mosgov. Luxury of playing next to LeBron James.

Well he's probably a good signing if they don't land JJ, which is most likely since no one wants Andy's contract. I wish they could-resign JR for $10 mil and ship his *** to BK.

True, I just meant someone more along the lines of being able to consistently do it. Not just once every blue moon.

He wouldn't be bad. I would rather have Gerald Green or Dorrell Wright

So would I, but Gerald Green is going to be out of the Cavs price range. Not sure about Dorrell.

And side note, I want Green to stay in PHX lol.

Off the top of my head Denver is really the only team that seems to be headed towards a rebuild but hasn't committed to it yet. I wouldn't be surprised if they would trade Gallo or Chandler for the Haywood contract. Either would be solid.
