Kobe's not the only one posting trophys and rings. He's a little late to the party

Boozer got alot of grief because the owner was blind

Huh? It's just happening today. What do you expect to happen? The Boozer thing was getting talked about on the message boards throughout the rest of the offseason, nevermind the day it happened. Everywhere basketball had a forum for people to talk, it was getting talked about. Not sure what your point really is at this point.

For what it's worth Boozer really has never recovered from it. He is looked at as a snake. And even without social media at the time the Boozer incident still stings and he hasn't shaken that. Even when he signed with Chicago people were still talking about it.

The Suns also will bring back veteran point guard Ronnie Price, 32, on a 1-year vet minimum deal ($1.5M). He played for the Suns in 2011-12.
What the **** is up with them today? I hope they sign Yuta Tabuse next

Some people talking about making a Christmas day rivalry between the two because of this...that's my point...people will be over it by then, this is really nothing in the long run.

Pretty sure you're talking about Pack joking about the NBA trying to make a rivalry out of the two teams because of this? Anyway, Dallas fans will definitely be treating his *** like a bitter rival if he stays with the Clippers. I'm not sure how you're getting "overreaction" and people "not moving on" etc. out of this. It's a story that's just breaking today and a story that's not even over yet. We're watching it as it's happening. You expected somebody to report that he was having second thoughts this morning and then everybody shut the hell up about the story and forget about it while the story is still happening throughout the course of the day? Who's really overreacting here? The people reacting to an unfolding story or the guy sitting around freaking out about people's reactions to an unfolding story?

Ummm no lol. Obviously it's expected to be talked about, since it's just happening. The overreactions are the people giving him **** for changing his mind or going back on his verbal word. Like I said earlier, no one on the interwebz can really relate to what he's going through with millions on the line and his emotions involved. So to me the "overreactions" are people giving the guy **** for something they can't possibly relate to.

Elton Brand is the worst case I can remember in recent memory. Had my boy B-Diddy sign with the Clippers, only to bolt for the 76ers smh. Baron and Elton would've been a nasty 1-2 punch. On the court and at the buffet.

Not to mention that as everyone knows, franchises are not loyal to players, so why be hard on a guy for not being loyal to a franchise?

Because if a franchise did this to a player during this time period they would be talked about like a dog. I'm not pro franchise because those guys have money out of their toe nails but if the Mavs played with Deandre's money and he was committed to coming to the Mavs and the Mavs said nvm we want Hibbert and everyone else filled their cap up, Dre would be calling foul and saying the Mavs took food out of his families mouth.

A franchise has never done what DJ is doing. You wont see a franchise offer a guy a max contract and then rescind it the day before the deadline. They would have a hard time attracting free agents in the future if they did that.

I don't think this exact situation has ever happened before with a player either. I dont recall a player ever being offered a max contract, accepting, and then changing his mind the day before signing. Turk and Boozer were mid level contracts and not as franchise altering as a max obviously.

                                Completely different situations.

The lack of loyalty from franchises is generally shown after a player has already been paid for their services. Imagine the uproar if a franchise made a verbal commitment to sign a guy only to wait and tell him, nah nevermind, causing him to lose out on millions.

Players union would be in an uproar.

Whether he signed the dotted line or not, the commitment was made.
