Yeah but still that history is there. I think you just don't give up all your assets for Cousins because of theses questions. Talent is there no doubt though.

Though Cousins has had recent turnaround...him being a knucklehead his first couple seasons was a big factor in how he has developed....

Let's not act like there is no question marks about Cousins. He's a dominant center that never lead his team anywhere.

Just keep Clarkson, Randle, the #27, #34 and draft Okafor.

Yeah. I think I'd only be ok with giving up the #2 pick.

I don't like the idea of giving up Randle and/or Clarkson as well.

Guaranted two points everytime down the floor though. You get one stop per game you win. Great strategy.

                Interesting thought.

                How so?

As for this trade, if I'm LA, I'd stand pat Randle and Okafor. High reward/Low Risk right there as far as financially.

                  Should've kept Mike Malone lol

If I were the Kings I wouldnt consider Cousins completely untouchable. He's a great player but if you can get a package like the number 2 pick, Randle, and Clarkson like someone proposed I think you have to take a good look at it.

The Boston Celtics have offered Marcus Smart and picks No. 16 and 28 in the first round to the Philadelphia 76ers for Nerlens Noel and the No. 3 pick.

The 76ers were not interested in the trade offer.

The Celtics have also been interested in trading for DeMarcus Cousins.

I would do that trade. I don't think we can fill our need at 16 which a presence down low on the offensive and defensive end. Also we have Isaiah who was pretty good last year after we traded for him. And we can't play him at the 2 because we signed Bradley to a 4 year extension last offseason.

That would be one heck of a steal by Danny Ainge. Some nerve asking for the #3 pick and Noel for that package. lol

Read something today saying no one of the Celtics roster is safe and they are thinking "big" in terms of making deals.

No idea why Ainge thought the 76ers would even consider that.
Noel is better than Smart and the number 3 pick is better than the 16 and 28 picks. The 76ers come out big time losers in that scenario.
