Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
If were talking about the most deserving overpaid guys, yea i agree he should get a contract that big. I dont think him as a player deserves to be getting paid that much, but if anyone gets overpaid it should be him.Lakers

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
Apparently Utah is trying to trade up in the draft. Trey Burke is supposedly getting shopped with the 12th pick and a future first.
Good riddance if we do move him lol. He's young but the kid can't shoot.Twitter: @TyroneisMaximus

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
Being shopped and telling us the specific deals in the works like the "proposed trades" for Cousins are two different things. We heard about Orlando in the Cousins "rumors" but nobody got word about the Ridnour move in the works?Comment

Even if they heard about Ridnour, does anybody care? Lol
They always say the rumors we hear are generally weeks old anyways.

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
jeremy lamb to cha may not be so bad. I think he can shoot, and given the right system he could thrive more as a role player. He had some good moments in okc, but the dude had no confidence. I cant tell if thats a product of scott brooks or him just not being confident.Lakers

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
I reaaaally like Vonleh. Didn't understand why he couldn't get any minutes in Charlotte, aside from maybe a crowded frontcourt.
Nice deal for both teams, though. Batum was a shell of himself last year but still played great defense. MKG and Batum could be the league's best wing duo on defense.
Yeah Vonleh still has lots of potential. Portland could end up with a great Aldridge replacement if they can bring him along with Lillard.

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
Where do you place him?
Defensively I would place him a notch above Klay Thompson, and probably not a whole lot less of an offensive threat. He'll never get that type of big name recognition but he fits comfortably as a 2nd-3rd scoring option who never tries to really be more than that.
If Indiana could end up with him to replace what they had with Lance they could be a scary good team again.. Assuming he can return from injury and be the same player he once was.

Wes Matthews ain't worth no damn max contract, healthy or not and just because other GMs are dumb enough to overpay on these average *** FAs out here doesn't mean one should be dumb enough to give him one.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
Basically my thoughts. There's a lot of pressure on the team to win now, especially with Steph's impending free agency in 2017, and it's pretty much coming at the expense of the future.Ohio State Buckeyes | Carolina Panthers | Charlotte Hornets | Cincinnati RedsComment

Re: 2015 Offseason Thread
I don't want to be THAT guy or anything coming in raining on anybody's hopes cause I'd hate for my hope train to crash too. I know you're a realistic fan so you're probably aware of this. However there needs to be no pressure on Charlotte to win now. Steph wasn't coming in 2017 regardless, but the clock hitting triple 0's last week pretty much sealed the deal on any hope of Steph leaving Golden State. Unless Delonte West suits up for Golden State at some point in the next few seasons, Steph ain't leaving anytime soon.Comment
