Might as well book Cleveland in the Finals. The East has to get better, man. We need a new format or something.

LeBron will go every single year if this keeps up.

Assuming the Hawks win (which I hope they won't for the sake of my Wiz) are people just ignoring that the Hawks handled the Cavs THRICE in the regular season with a team that had a healthy Love & Kyrie?

Either vs the Wiz or the Hawks the Cavs won't be able to hide Kyrie on defense, especially not with Shroeder playing with greater confidence.

Either vs the Wiz or the Hawks the Cavs won't be able to hide Kyrie on defense, especially not with Shroeder playing with greater confidence.

Regular season and playoffs is two different things. Also, I don't know, but how many of those games did CLE have JR, Mosgov, Shump?

Bottom line is, if ATL moves on, let's see if they beat CLE "thrice" again. I doubt it. Hawks aren't a championship contender team. And to my main point, I am sure Atlanta would have no chance in the West. Pair LeBron up with a lot of help and he'll be in the ECF at least every year. I don't think so in the West. East has been horrid.

A pretty sad end to the Thibs era last night. They just didn't have the chemistry or offensive execution this year. They didn't seem to be on the same page. And what in the hell happened to Noah? He caught Hibbertitis.

We know that means litte. The Knicks went 4-0 against Miami in the 2012 regular season and then got spanked 4-1 in the playoffs.

People just refuse to give the Hawks any credit despite their success vs the West, their great record at Home, a good coach who makes adjustments & rides the hot hands/lineups all because they have no superstar. Nevermind they have 2 PGs who live in the paint, outside shooters from 1-4, active mobile bigs, and a decent bench.

Yeah, it's the regular season. Even thought it doesn't really matter, what's the winning % vs Western Playoff teams? Who in the West you see them beating?

That's not a good trade. At all. But par for the course with Phil Jackson.

Par for the course? Phil has made like three trades thus far, kinda a tiny sample size. Shump and JR were trash in NY anyway, keeping them made no sense.

I'm not going to feel bad because they're riding LeBron's coattails deep into the playoffs. Good for them, I'm legitimately happy for them, but no need to throw shade at the Knicks. JR is where he should be, a role player who's 4th on the team in FGA, not second as he was in NY.

I personally like the Hawks a lot, and give them all the credit in the world for what they've done, but despite all their regular season success they haven't looked all that good in the playoffs...

12-5 including sweeps over the Clippers & Rockets while splitting with Memphis & GSW.

I am a ***** but I really want to see Wall go at Dellavedova for an entire seven game series. Dude is easily the biggest gnat in the NBA right now but obviously I'd love him if he was on my team.

As good as Golden State is I think one of the teams out East do have a shot against them..

They rely heavily on runs and being able to get those easy 3's in transition.. If you can control the pace, and Curry/Klay have a couple off nights you have a shot.. That's what Memphis is doing to them now. Eastern conference teams play slower defensive minded style anyways. Golden State doesn't like to get out of their comfort zone.

Memphis is a bad matchup for the Hawks but Wizards/Cavs would match them decently. Clippers have their strengths but zero answer for LeBron and might struggle with the Hawks shooting bigs..

I don't think Houston makes the finals, but if they do they will likely struggle to guard any of the PG's from the East, and the Hawks would hurt them win their bigs pulling Howard from the rim.

You see them beating or sweeping the Clippers or Rockets? Or beating Memphis or GSW in the playoffs? I don't. Wouldn't even think about picking the Hawks to make the WCFs.
