"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

I wish that list would work for the Nats. There's is usually "run thru the regular season and then lose in the first round". The Caps used to be like that too.#RespectTheCultureComment

Just documenting predictions before we get started here. People are saying the Cavs are going to win this series despite Love not being there and JR out the first two games. I don't want to hear nothing about Love and JR missing after this series if the Cavs lose.Comment

How can losing two of your top 4 scorers not be a factor? It would obviously be a different series with them than without

With that said, I'm saying Chicago is 6 as of right now.

I didn't say it wasn't. But if you're picking the Cavs to win the series before it starts now (which I'm not going to argue with anyone for doing) particularly if you're picking them to win in less than 7, then don't come playing the Love, JR card afterward if they don't get it done is my point.Comment

Someone picked the Cavs in 6? Didn't see it on there. Interesting if so....bold prediction.
Despite who anyone picks though, Love and JR Smith's absence will absolutely play a big role in this series, win or lose. It just will. Doesn't take away from a Bulls win, no ones crying for the Cavs if they lose, injuries happen as Bulls fans know....but it will be discussed as a major factor, as it should. It can't be ignored because some people picked the Cavs.Comment

Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs - 2nd Round Discussion Thread
I just want the Bulls to come out with as much energy, and play as cohesively as they did in Game 6 against Milwaukee. Ball was moving, guys were flying all over the place and we were getting after it defensively. If those things happen, the rest will fall into place.
Oh and if Rose doesn't shoot us out of it.Cubs | Bulls | Dolphins | 'Noles
