Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs - 2nd Round Discussion Thread
Ya'll complain when the same teams win over and over again but then when there's a possibility of having different teams, ya'll still complain.

No - would have rather seen OKC with Durant/Westbrook, the Spurs with Popovich and Duncan, maybe the Pacers with a healthy George who have been in the conference finals the last few years, and maybe keep Cleveland if they weren't so broken with Love out and Irving so ineffective.Comment

I would never complain with the same teams in it over and over again. This year hasn't been bad, there just isn't any storylines or drama in in this year. You have the Noah and LeBron storyline, but that is built up from a few years ago.Comment

Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs - 2nd Round Discussion Thread
Looking at LeBron's stats on paper, I'm very surprised the Cavs are 2-2 in addition with no Love and a banged-up Kyrie.
Props to Jimmy who IMO is the best LeBron defender.
I didn't get a chance to catch the Cavs/Celtics series but LeBron's turnovers have been astonishingly high this year (4.9) compared to previous years' (~3)Comment

If it's true that Blatt's final play was LeBron to inbound then this guy is completely lost.

Officiating was predictably horrendous again in a Cavs game, what a shock. Shooting twice as many FT's on your opponents home floor and being given a free timeout to draw up a play at the end and somehow every ref misses Blatt 5 feet on the court signaling timeout 5 times? You have to clearly beat a team LeBron is on, if not the refs will keep them in it."In the morning he would read the Bible with another coach. Then, in the afternoon, he would go out and cheat kids who had probably saved up money from mowing lawns to buy those raffle tickets. That's Jim Tressel."Comment

LeBron is very clearly not the same guy, let alone "best player on the planet" anymore.

Re: Eastern Conference Playoffs - 2nd Round Discussion Thread
I'll be honest, I thought the Bulls were going to be much better than they have been in the first two series once the playoff started. Even after watching their up and downs this year I thought they had the depth to get motivated and make a run for the chip.
Obviously they can still do that. But man, no Kevin Love, no JR Smith for two games, hobbled Kyrie, fatigued and sloppy LeBron, Thompson and Mozgov bobbling every wide open pass.. This thing should have been a sweep IMO.. Noah has looked awful, especially this last game but this Bulls team is a lot better than the group Cleveland is putting on the court. I don't believe they should have let Cleveland take those two games, especially today's game..
If LeBron and Kyrie ever start clicking I think this is over for Chicago. That obviously might not happen, Jimmy is playing good defense, LeBron looks gassed, Kyrie is hurt and not handling pressure well.. And I'm not a Bulls fan, but as a basketball fan this Chicago team has been a disappointment for me the first two rounds. And I can't believe Thibs doesn't even rest Jimmy when LeBron is out, especially since Snell has been pretty solid, at least better than any of Cleveland's bench guys. Chicago's help D is sloppy, they are leaving shooters wide open, I just can't believe how low a team with this caliber of talent looks right now..
I might have just jinxed Cleveland with that, the Bulls going to come out and kill them like that last Bucks game now lol.. But I really think so far Chicago is missing a golden opportunity. I'll take it but damn, if I were a Bulls fan I think I would be slightly disappointed thus far.. Especially since I felt they had a legit shot of winning it all this year, and that was before the Love injury.
