    I disagree.

Every team left has weaknesses. When it comes to strengths I'd put up Houston with anyone. Memphis' strength is the frontcourt, GS is the backcourt. Houston has an elite perimeter player and an elite low post guy. I like that pairing, though I'm not a fan of Dwight.

With the 4 remaining teams I think it is more about matchups and not any team being clearly better.

I'm not sold on them yet. Haven't done anything to warrant that praise.

While I think clippers bench is better then rockets. All rockets have is Josh smith and heck he started they have no bench.
        Jones/Brewer/Smith >>>>>>>>>> Rivers/Crawford/Davis

No matter what universe you are in. Clippers bench was a dumpster fire all year and over achieved drastically for the first 4 games. Couple that with a lack of McHale adjustments on both ends of the floor (finally solved a piece of the puzzle tonight by starting Smith and putting Howard on Griffin) and the Rockets as a team shooting the ball abysmally, it isn't a surprise they were down 3-1. But, did you really think that Austin Rivers was gonna keep shooting 55-60% from the field? Or that Glen Davis was going to continue giving quality mins? These were guys that could barely find minutes in the regular season.

Picked Rockets in 6, sticking with them. I personally think Game 7 is going to be a rout, especially after this.

GS is way way deeper then Huston. All Huston as is harden, smith and Dwight ever one else sucks on the team and curry is better then harden and Dwight is overrated. If Huston plays GS they would be luck to win more then 1 game. Clippers won game 1 with out paul and would have won game 2 if not for a million free throws and calls. The only game that Huston really should have won is game 5.

They played an elite regular season, then handled their first round series. They are currently turning around a series where they took a tough punch in the mouth from another legitimately elite team.

Not only all that but they won the season series over the Rockets 4-0 by 15 points per game. I'd say that shows them as a much better team.

Just looked at the box score... Davis and Hawes had a combined 9 minutes tonight. Blake and DeAndre had 41 each.

              Nice job, Doc.

Agree with all of that only I never look at what a team did in the regular season because one team could have been hurt a lot or been playing bad while the other team was on a hot streak ect.

I will give you the regular series matchup, but the same could be said for both of Washington's postseason opponents.

I'm not a Houston fan. I'm not saying Houston is better or that they would win. I'm only saying GSW is not on a different level than Houston. I think the series would go to 5 or 6. Maybe GS wins, maybe not. It would depend on the man child known as Dwight Howard.

But they still haven't done anything to warrant the best team praise....

People look too much into stats and regular season series. Regular season isn't the playoffs. Totally different ballgame.

Just playing devil's advocate, that could be hindsight.
They clinch the series tonight those two would be playing no minutes for game 7.

They weren't a run of the mill 1 seed. They won 67 games in one of the better conferences this century while posting an absurd point differential. One that would of been even higher if they kept the pedal to the floor for 20 or so games they put away early. They had the #1 defense and #2 offense.

That's not looking into stats, those are stats that jump right out at you.

Houston played badly for the first few games, showed some serious mental weakness checking out of games and should be ecstatic to be back in this series. Golden State didn't play up to their standards going down 2-1, but they weren't ****ting the bed like the Rockets were. They were being outplayed. Then they made an adjustment and have dominated the last two games.

Even if you ignore the regular season, what the Warriors have done in this round puts Houston's performance this round to shame.

Edit: and I like Houston. I had them to win this series in 6 at most. But they are still a solid notch below the Warriors.

David lee doesn't even play much and he is better then most of the players on Huston.

As a lifetime rockets fan, this was fun.

it was like the shock of a buzzer beater slowly, and painfully drawn out for the opposition. Good times.

The Rockets **** the bed but the Warriors were just not playing to their standards? You are using different words to describe the same thing.
