From the player side, the playoffs are not that different. They are still playing basketball.

But it is different for coaches. The playoffs are where good coaches are revealed. It is just as much Kerr vs McHale as Harden vs Curry.

People also said that the Grizzlies would slow down the pace and make it a half court game but that really hasn't happened yet. At any rate, it doesn't make much sense for Houston to slow things down when their half court offense really isn't that great.
In terms of coaching, I think GS has the advantage there as well. Not just because of Kerr, but because he has a great staff behind him and they've already made great adjustments in the Memphis series.

I salute you. Kudos for Mchale who left in the second unit. And Josh Smith leading the charge at that. Is this bizzaro world I woke up to this morning?

One can only imagine how good Josh Smith could have been if he had a reliable jump shot..

Kenny: Ok Vic, I'm ready for some girl on girl action.
Vic: No Kenny, that's girl versus girl.
          Kenny: What's the difference?
Vic: Well, in one, one girl wins. In the other....

I bet he's the guy who sells the Spurs playbooks to other teams. Something fishy with that 24th guy.

It's actually insane, I went to bed around a min into the 4th (work) only to wake up stunned this morning.

I really shouldn't be stunned, I actually started to see it at the end of the third when they were up 18. Crawford and the like were talking rushed, ill advised shots and Hou kept chipping away.

Nearing the end of the third they had it going between 9 and 13, didn't realize it would keep going on the 4th.

Well played 24th, just a hunch huh?

CP3 just still may not have yet reached the Conf finals in his career again this season.

Well I've legitimately got nothing to say but let's go on to Game 7.

                  ..or not.

For the record I went to bed in the 3rd, so I won't be talking too much @#%$.

I'm going to need y'all to go back to talking about the Clippers and about hypothetical Conf. Finals matchups involving them. I need to see a team come back from being down 3-1.

If he shot in the high 30's. He'd be a player I'd want on my team. But even after this game. I still wouldn't play him for the outside shot.

the only people i saw takin bad shots in the 4th was blake and paul. blake was trying too hard to barge into the paint and finish over smith and howard. paul dribbling the ball for 18-20 secs (with terry pressuring him) doesnt help when having to take a rushed shot. Crawdford will never be a spot up shooter, u cant just feed him the ball with 3 secs left on the clock and expect him get buckets. Barnes was awful, he had like 5 open looks in the 4th and airballed on 2 of them. Reddick looked scared to shoot i think he only had 2 attempts in 4th or all at the end of the game.

It was like a contagion, the clippers caught the cavs/bulls 3rd quarter disease

From @ESPNStatsInfo Rockets have never won a playoff game in which they trailed by 10 or more entering the 4th quarter (0-49).
                            Make that 1-49.

Props to ya'll other East Coast dudes that stayed up and caught the rest of this game. Lord knows I can't fade the 10:30 start times unless I'm off the next day.

Yep, I picked the wrong night to go to bed mid-3rd quarter. Didn't bother DVR'ing the rest either.

I need to find the entire 4th quarter to rewatch.
