i would love it for the Lakers to reach the second round (as that seems o be overachieving to many) but depending on who they are facing, Lakers always have a chance in a 7 game series with Kobe on the team. I dont think that Skinny Shaq will have to nurse many injuries next year but I do agree that they won't reach the conference finals. Pistons will beat indiana.....in 6. and I think that the Spurs have a great shot but it is to close to tell with some of the teams. Duncan should be MVP but it will go to shaq in MIAMI, Artest and Ben Wallace are the only two who can get DPY, and caron very well could win 6th man unless they trade someone (or him) and he doesn't get the games needed off the bench

I thought he was "so cool". Then I stuck with Orlando through the bad years, Shaq leaving, Penny leaving, Tmac coming, and now with McGrady leaving I decided that the whole Orlando Magic organization is a joke. McGrady said that the had a horrible relationship with management, they never spoke with him, didnt call him on his birthday, keep him updated on Grant Hill, never told him who they were gonna pick, etc. I'm not sayin kiss his ***, but at least show your star player some respect. Especially if he wants to be informed and involved with the team at that level... I consider that a good thing. Then after passing on Okafur I was screaming at Weisbrod. Although I like how he recovered from the Tmac deal (getting Mobley and Francis) I just decided that I'm jumping to Houston with McGrady. Although I hate bandwagon jumpers, I had to choose between my favorite player and my favorite team, and because Weisbrod has been pissing me off, I opted to go with McGrady.
those bandwagon fans annoy me too, but that happens everywhere when a team does well...there were a ton of Carolina Panther bandwagon fans when they made it to the SB last year. It's just how it goes. If Houston got to the finals or won the championship there'd be a million bandwagon fans with new Yao or TMac jerseys out there

I'm from Michigan and I had to watch as all these bandwagon Pistons fans went out and bought their Ben and Rip jerseys, when a season ago they could care a less about the team. Same thing happened when we won the cup... all of a sudden Detroit is hockey town? C'mon now, Detroit is anything but hockey town. It made me so mad, because I stuck with the Magic hardcore, watched all the games that were televised, watched as we got bounced from the first round year after year. And then all these people who don't even watch basketball are waving their red white and blue jerseys proudly. I dunno, I guess its jealousy.
The Pistons lead the league in attendence the last 3 years....

How do you figure people are just now jumping on the bandwagon????

The Pistons Fans stuck with this team through the crappy teal days...bad draft picks...and losing their first bonafide superstar since Zeke...the Pistons have GREAT fans and always have! Sure their are going to be a few bandwagon jumpers with any great run....but your generalization is way off-base!
