Your Top 3 Playoff Game Winners
With everything that went down this weekend, just wondering what everyone's top 3 favorite game winners are....Tags: None -
Re: Your Top 3 Playoff Game Winners
Here are my top three:
3. Derek Fisher 0.4 shot. Game 5 of the 2004 Conference Semi-Finals: Los Angeles Lakers vs San Antonio Spurs
You hate to loose home court advantage late in the series but that's what the Spurs did against the Lakers when they lost this heart breaker with Fisher knocking down the game winning shot with 0.4 seconds left.

2. Robert Horry game winning three point shot. Game 4 of the 2002 Conference Finals: Los Angeles Lakers vs Sacramento Kings.
The Lakers was staring down the barrel of a 3-1 deficit and possibly an end to their hopes of a three peat during that time. But Robert Horry saves the day and helps the Lakers with a huge comeback and a big win in the series.

1. Michael Jordan series winning shot against the Cavs. Game 5 of the 1989 First Round: Chicago Bulls vs Cleveland Cavilers.
This shot, and series win, propelled the Bulls into stardom. They go on into the next round against the favorite New York Knicks and dispatch them in 6 before loosing to the eventual Champion Detroit Pistons. I honestly believe in the "Butterfly Effect" and if the Bulls did not win this series, they don't go on to win their 6 championships in the up and coming years. They might have captured probably one or two but not six.
