I just have to shout this out... it has been bugging me

The faces in NBA live 2003 flat out are plain, bland, generic, and are just BAD. There's no other words for it. PC users can patch the game which is highly recommended, but I don't think I can live with those faces and those bulky arms regardless of the gameplay anymore.

I checked out those screenshot comparsion's of all the guys and I was satisfyed with ID and Nba2k3 on some guys. But live didn't impress me one bit.

Who here actually can care less about the faces being off a few parameters?

I mean, it'd be ok if this was a football game, as Madden is, with helmes being on and all, but we have to stare at these guys playing, and look at there faces almost every time we play. It's sad IMO.

I agree tha faces look horrible in tha comparison but watchin in footage and in tha other pics they look better.

Yeah, I just hope the requirements on the PC version arent too high. Last time i checked for madden 2003, the minimum req. were like a 500 mhz PC.

I have like a pentinum celeron 400 megahertz.

That question was asked by yours truly and Steve included in the interview with Tim from EA. They think they have the best player faces...ha ha ha ha. We just zoom out on the camera options and we should do fine..

Just that gradification would be nice to know in the back of your head that the game is as CLOOOOOOSE as possible to the real deal.

yea the faces aint up to par...but me personally...i dont really care...they aint THAT bad...i barely see em in playing view anyways so it doesnt really matter...i think from the neck down they have the best player models..with ID second and 2k3 3rd...thos big hands and thick, stiff limbs in 2k3 gots to go..

NK....I couldn't agree more, except I like player resemblence. Call me a graphics Ho. The technology is out there and EA has no excuse to produce generic mugs.
I won't say anything about the gameplay until I get a shot to play the game and check out the improvements.
