    My Story.....

I love all sports, and growing up Basketball was one of my favorite sports and at one point was my #1 favorite. In the last 4 years I haven't loved basketball as much as I used and Im not sure why, well Im sure there are things I do know why but I just can't remember. Anyway In my Teens years I lived for basketball, slepped basketball, played basketball, dreamed basketball, I'm 25 now, bottom line I just loved basketball. I'm a huge Rockets fan, and my favorite player of all Time Is Clyde Drexler. Growing up in NY as a Rockets fan was a little bit crazy, a lot of my freinds being Knick fans hated that I was a Rockets fan, "cough" "cough" 1994- Rockets beating the Knicks, with the best player in the leauge at the time "The Dream". Then my favorite player of all time "Drexler" Finally coming over and winning with the Rockets in 95, what more can a fan ask for. Anyway all Im saying is that this year I got that feeling all over agian, and that felling is the true love for basketball, I love the sport and I can't wait for the season to start, Im just excited all over again about Basketball, and it feels great like Im a teenager again. Seeing Yao/Macgrady I'm seeing Hakeem/Drexler all over again. I LOVE THIE GAME. Anyway sorry if I bored you with my story.

Nice story. My interest in basketball has declined over the past couple of years as well. Probably because my Sixers bore me, and I'm tired of Iverson.

Oh yeah, one more thing, don't EVER compare Yao to "The Dream".

Same story with me. But of course I'm a Bulls fan so it's even worse with me.

*Sigh* Tell me about it. I get so excited when the season starts......until we hit december and the Bulls are already 15 games out of first place. LOL

I think in order to rekindle the flame of basektball, for me especially, I need to get my league pass. I did'nt get it last year but the year before, my interest in basketball had skyrocketed. All because I was able to follow another team the entire season. I followed the Kings and the Magic that year and I was truly in love with the sport. Those ESPN and TNT telecast dont do enough for me. I can only truly get into the sport when I follow a successfull team.

I'm thinking about getting it again but not sure how my cash flow is looking with this baby near. At least I know when she keeps me up half of the night, a west coast game will be on.

My intrest died down after Clyde retired. He was my favorite player, the only player that I got really excited watching. Anyway it was nice seeing him get inducted in to the Hall of Fame this past weekend. It brought back memories of how good he was. Even though he could only go right, not many people could stop him.
