Ugh, terrible night tonight for Utah. Favors was sick with the flu, Hayward was still off, and we had no answers for Lillard/McCollum.Twitter: @TyroneisMaximus

For all his flaws now and all the jokes about him, he's actually a better pro than I ever imagined he would be. So good job by him in my eyes.

Even before Duke though, I'd go back as far as HS junior people were penciling him in as a top 3 pick, supposedly had an indefensible crossoverWolverines Wings Same Old Lions Tigers Pistons Erika ChristensenComment

Re: 11/3 - 11/9 Games Discussion Thread
He was definitely overhyped at the HS level, the Harrison brothers were even worse.
Sometimes I wonder what scouts see in some of these kids. Rashad Madden who played his SR year at Arkansas last year was projected to be a lottery pick in the draft when his college career was over. I watched him play plenty of times his junior and senior year of high school and there was literally nothing at all special about him other than he was taller than nearly every kid in the "2A" class of Arkansas basketball.. 2A is a very small school BTW so you get the idea of who his competition would be.
Maybe it's just me thinking too highly of myself, but I legitimately felt that my old out of high school for years self was better than he was as a senior.. Yet they were projecting him to potentially be a first round pick in the league once his D1 college career ended.
It blows my mind really. Unless scouts only see potential in tall guys with guard skills.

Why Josh Smith attack the rim so awkwardly. He's too strong and athletic for that ****

If Barnes can play this well consistently GS has to be a repeat favorite.
