NHL doing similar thing too. Giving players thanksgiving off. Kind of surprised they wouldn't have a Canadian team playing home game on Thanksgiving. Sure in NBAs case,the players are Americans, but if they had Raptors playing a home night game on USA Thanksgiving, ratings in Canada won't be affected by that. Take advantage of fairly empty tv schedule outside of NFL games. Make that a tradition. Raptors playing home game on USA thanksgiving. Diff opponent each year. And the teams who play on that day,get the Friday off.
Who knows,maybe it'd even attract some people to drive up here for the game. Take advantage of weak Canadian dollar combined with big black friday sales,and a NBA game too.
People gonna be making fun of them no matter what, might as well embrace it lol.

Grizzlies-Rockets game is the one being shown over here tonight. Haven't paid attention too much but peeked for a sec and saw Harden doing his fake drive, where he pretends he's going for a layup and convinces the ref he's been touched. Can't stand watching him play.Comment
