Movie Clips.....(Please Read)

For those of you complaining about the movie clips, please bear in mind the situation I have.

First and foremost, I HAVE to capture the movie clips using CPU vs. CPU, as it is IMPOSSIBLE for me to play the game while capturing as it captures at a whopping 5 frames per second, so unless you guys wants some crossover happy movies of me dribbling out of bounds or throwing no looks to the referees, I suggest you calm down.

I know it isn't everbody, but I have been recieving emails out of my *** complaining about the gameplay. It's not my fault CPU vs. CPU games suck. At least you guys are seeing some movie clips for free, unlike other sites.

Also, for the newcomers of the site, please understand this is a hobby site, it's not my job. I also have a wife, stepson and daughter to take care of at my house that I just moved into. So yes, I'm still unpacking. Please bear this in mind before sending me hateful complaining emails, or the site will go down quicker than any of you can imagine.

thanks for addressing that steve.......you are doing more for us than the games respective sites do put together.....im sure everybody is thankful for the job your doing.....but some people cant help but to be anxious to see more......thanks again for the great job

Ya, to those who are ungrateful, or who actually have the time to go and write unproductive emails to Steve, go somewhere else.

He does a great job, and give us very informative information that we could not get, unless we paid for it.

He does great game comparisons, cool clips, and a place where we can all speak our minds about a great hobby.

We should all be on our hands and knees thanking the good lord that he has given us Steve to set up a place like this for us, but instead, some of you are just bashing. Grow up people.

I agree totally before I came here I never got this much info on a video game, other than the lies told to sell the game by the companies ..But After checkin out this site a few times I am totally addicted ... where else can u go and get updated information on a sports game right when it happens and not just one game... He covers all from easports to inside drive so we the gamer can get as much info we can in selecting what game to get .. unless we have money and get all of them... but thanks alot steve I and like many many others appreciate what u have done for us ....

As I said in a post I put up, If not for O.S. We wouldn't have much to see. Steve has given us some things we wanted, and more than the actula game sites were willing to do. I say, if you don't like what's on the site, start your own, and take the unhappy gamers with you. I for one am glad O.S. is here, and I understand being a family man takes up quite a bit of time. This will probably be a classic site in it's own time. We can give our opinions, debate, get great info, interviews, free movies, free pics, post pics, get updates,get the inside scoop, and notice when other sites have info. Need I say more? I think I speak for the mojority of us when I say THANKS for your hard work Steve, and the extra stuff, like trying to get us comparisons, and detailed questions answered.

I know it's a hobby site, but I was only giving constructive criticism, and I had no idea that it was cpu vs cpu play, even if that does explain some of the lackluster play. I do question showing videos that don't show off the new features, as I already have NBA2k2 for instance. VC excepts both agenda based ranting, dissing and constructive criticism, so it's alright to get a few bad emails. If the content of those aren't worth listening to, then don't listen to them.

Also, couldn't you record your play to a VCR, then capture the play? I figure, if you can't make good videos, for whatever reason, then just don't do them. I remember this one website (extreme videos, now nextgenvideos.com) had dreamcast videos with somebody who actually knows how to play games very well, making the likes of Diehard 2 and Crimson Plague look like good games. That is all that I want, to see some topnotch play on a video for once, no matter how bad the game, since it would show the game off much better.

Even the pay sites don't do videos such as that, which makes them not worth the money, so there's area's websites like this can outdo the pay sites (operation sports forums already outdo the pay websites).

I want to see real basketball at least being attempted. Some strategy, players working to score buckets, working to find good shots, get open 3's, and using the new featurs of the game. Can't I at least see a dive in NBA2k3? I'm just trying to help, no ill will.

You are missing the point though. These movies take a long time to make. Steve has a job, and a family. This is not his job, this is his hobby. I, for one love what Steve does with this website, and he should be praised for it He can only do what he has time to do. I realize that you aren't meaning it in a bad way, and that you just want to see someone playing the game, but compared to most sites, where you only get jagged pictures, this place is near gaming heaven.
