Agreed.

I don't get why the trade was so highly praised.

Is Oladipo even better than Dion Waiters? Legit question. I'd say Waiters is better (not by much) but this isn't the type of move that gets OKC over the hump.

I really like Sabonis. But the trade IMO is more about balancing out the roster with young pieces in case they can't re-sign Durant or Westbrook. That's how the OKC front office operates.

And I still don't understand why they matched Kanter but didn't want to pay Ibaka next year. Younger? To me that's kinda crazy.

Yes, he's much better than Waiters. Neither one is the knock down shooter you'd like to replace Roberson but Dipo is better at nearly everything than Waiters (although some by not a large margin). Better attitude and bball IQ is reason alone for this move.

I'm not a fan of Ibaka at all BUT i do think the Thunder miss his outside shooting. He became very reliable as a knock-down shooter but that's all he has on that side of the ball. I also don't think his on-ball defense is very good tbh.

Oklahoma City Thunder superstar Kevin Durant is planning to host free-agency meetings at a singular location starting July 1, league sources told The Vertical.

Durant’s representatives at Roc Nation are working to solidify invitations with the Boston Celtics, Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Clippers, Miami Heat, San Antonio Spurs and Thunder, league sources said.
The meetings are expected to take place in New York, but teams are still awaiting word on a location.

The Thunder remain the frontrunners to re-sign Durant, likely on a one-plus-one-year deal that will allow Durant to return to free agency in the summer of 2017, league sources said. But more than any other rival suitor, the Warriors have Durant's attention, league sources said.

Durant’s public and private criteria for the free-agent selection process have pertained to a singular focus: the chance to win titles immediately.

Warriors sign undrafted 7’6″ center Mamadou N’Diaye. 7'6" :O

Looking at some of his highlights, it's unlikely this guy makes it. Too slow and can barely stand on his legs.
