re: 2016 NBA Offseason Thread
You certainly can go into an interview and tell them if it's a better financial move for you to take this job over another one or you're leaving your current job because the one available pays better. Not sure what kind of interviewing y'all doing lol
Anyway, no surprises here, Pau Gasol just opted out of his deal officially becoming a free agent.Comment

The KD/Miami possibility is curious. Wins a title there and folks say he is following LBJ footsteps. Fails to win a title and the story becomes he couldn't get done what LBJ could. All while having to get through a LBJ led Cavs team for the oppertunity to even make a Finals.
Would generate a bunch of page views come playoff time.Comment

That's his fault though. I honestly wouldn't even have a problem with him being about his money the way he has been if he was real about it. You're a young athlete with a limited amount of time to make a **** ton of money. Do you and get that money if that's what you want. But if you're more concerned about your money than winning, then keep it 100 and be about your money and don't try to front like winning is the most important thing to you and then every chance you get to prove that winning is the most important thing for you, you pass on it to chase the money.Originally posted by G PericoIf I ain't got it, then I gotta take it

A real vague tweet from Alex Kennedy suggests there's a FA big man whose list goes
1.Spurs
2.Raptors
3.Cavs
4.Knicks
Based on those teams needs, really does sound like it could be Biyombo. Going to Spurs, where he starts some games as Duncan slowly taking reduced role. Toronto where he'd be backup C(or starting PF if he can somehow make transition), or Cavs where he's for sure their starter.Ohio State Buckeyes | Carolina Panthers | Charlotte Hornets | Cincinnati RedsComment

re: 2016 NBA Offseason Thread
Another fave in regards to the name from that list of Spurs,Raptors,Cavs,Knicks seems to be Pau Gasol.
He can play C and PF. So on Spurs, he could be a bench guy who occasionally gets to start. On Raptors, he gets to start at PF. On Cavs, he gets to start at C.
I could see him being the more likely guy involved in that rumor. Seems to fit the description alot more than Biyombo. I just wonder how much he might cost. I mean he turns down around 8M, but he is gonna be 36, will someone really be paying him over 10M?Last edited by Majingir; 06-27-2016, 05:27 PM.Comment

Depends on the Spurs and Cavs' cap situation. Pretty sure Pau is trying to get paid one last time.
