So 64 million for Mosgov and 50 million for Clarkson? I think they signed the wrong contracts.

Clarkson's contract was over 4 years. And he did average about 16 points per game with Kobe on the team . All rookie first team. I've seen worse .#1 Laker fan

re: 2016 NBA Offseason Thread
Being a top 5 SG in the NBA right now isn't an accomplishment considering that's one of the weakest positions in the league right now. Wade is about to be 35 in January and looking for a massive payday and we know damn well he ain't leaving Miami. There's no point in tying up yourself in the free agency market fooling with him trying to use these guys for leverage against Miami.

Found this on NetsDaily but it's basically a Salary Cap Contract Conversion Tool, so you can see what contracts signed today would look like under the old cap. Pretty cool, since it provides context on some of these deals signed:
With the infusion of TV money and the rising salary cap, this NBA free agency period will include some shocking contracts.
Mozgov's contract today under the old cap is worth $11 Mil a year and puts it in the same group as guys like Marcin Gortat, Thaddeus Young, Omer Asik, Nikola Vucevic and Kenneth Faried.
Lin's contract is worth $8 Mil under the old cap.#RespectTheCultureComment

Bad teams overpay for role players.
The sky is blue.
I'm just providing context to these deals before we go "ARGHGAKFHKSD OVERPAIDDDDD" like we all usually do for every contract announced in the first day of FA. And then 4-5 months later, we're talking about "Oh man, they got great value for that deal", lol.
Clarkson's deal under the old cap would be $8 Mil, in the same breath as guys like Dirk, KG, Lance, Shumpert, Splitter and Gibson FWIW.#RespectTheCultureComment
