re: 2016 NBA Offseason Thread
If I'm Philly, I'm taking Ingram over Simmons.
Simmons is still a big question mark over his shooting and Ingram is better defensively.
I also think Ingram's floor spacing is a much better fit for Philly. I mean sure Simmons could eventually be the better player, but right now I envision him as a bigger version of Evan Turner.
A front-court lineup of Simmons, Noel, and Okafor does not look to great on paper.Comment

What help has he had though? I agree, LA would be stupid to trade for him, being that they don't have anybody to really complement him yet, but he's a legitimate Top 10 player.Twitter: @TyroneisMaximus

500 start after Boogie got hurt, and then hire a guy who clearly wanted him out of town and didn't know how to use him.
His best teammate in his career has been Rudy Gay, who is notorious for leaving teams who immediately become successful after he leaves.
Put Boogie in Boston, or in San Antonio, or in Denver even with Mike Malone, and he'll thrive. He needs the right coach, and he needs the right support system.
Those dominant big men that you say win 50 games had some talent beside them. Boogie has Rudy Gay and an over-the-hill Rajon Rondo.Twitter: @TyroneisMaximus

I mean, when he's been playing for a garbage organization his entire career, what do you expect? You can't fire the guy's head coach (who he LOVED), after a hot start slowed down to a sub-

I'm not even a Boogie fan, to be honest, but he seems to be underrated nowadays due to his franchise's incompetence.Twitter: @TyroneisMaximus

Philly desperately needs scoring.. I wouldn't take Simmons.. Hell I might even trade back a few spots and get a couple quality starters and draft Buddy Hield.Comment

Is that a serious question? Of course. Ingram and Simmons are no guaranteed stars. They're not LeBron, or Anthony Davis, or Tim Duncan. Boogie meanwhile is arguably the top center in the league and an incredible offensive talent, while also being possibly his team's best interior defender. He's also what, like 25? He's a legitimate top 10 player in the league and still has so much room to improve.

If Boogie ever gets mentally focused to where he's giving his best effort consistently he's probably a top 5-8 player in the league.. It's a no brainier to take him IMO.Comment
