I like both these deals. I think Indy could be real good next year. Myles Turner seemed to do well last year, we all know that George is great. And I like Teague. And the Bulls trade is another good one for both teams. Lopez is a big to fill a need after Gasol and Noah leave this offseason and they unloaded Rose. And the Knicks got Rose without giving up a pickup.

A lot of fans already hate it and have been anti-Rose since the season ended.
Not gonna get too excited since he's a shell of his former self and he's gonna get destroyed by fans/media in NY but we just got our best PG since Mark friggin Jackson (eff off, Starbury).
I also like that it gives us even more flexibility for next summer. Rose just has the one year left and we're out from under Lopez's deal, even if it wasn't a bad one, relatively speaking.
Also gives a good trio with Rose/Melo/Taps to attract some FAs. Overall, worth the risk and I like it because we didn't give up a first and Rose only has one year left."You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Yeah, quite a bit more - esp since Rose will probably play 55-60 games next year and isn't that good anyway.
I assume we'll fill the roster with more stop-gaps like we did last summer (after "striking out" on Durant, for those NYK fans still holding on to that pipe dream) and then see what happens next summer. I love that deal for the Knicks. Rose definitely needs a fresh start and I still think he's could become a good pg again. And they got Justin Holiday, a guy who's potential I've always liked.

Melo getting to play with d rose without having to go to Chicago lol. Not sure how Melo and rose will mesh together, we shall see. Also how much cap does the knicks have now? They had about 30 mil b4 the trade and now they taking rose 21 mil contract but they got rid of lopez big contract so how much they got now?
