Re: More changing of the rules and less of the players

Wow we may finally see some "and 1" plays again. I have no problem with these changes it will allow for more scoring which is one of the major problems in the nba. Defenses will just have to adjust.

Weren't tick-tack fouls part of the reason for the US team's failures (Duncan in particular)?

They should do what the NHL did and fine players who take dives to get penalties or call unsportsman like conduct penalties for flops and dives
As Shaquille O'Neal left the Suns practice court, he yelled out, "Alvin's the coach. We must be the Clippers. And I must be Olowokandi. Nooooo!"

You gotta place the blame on Chuck Daly and his Pistons first. He started thug ball, Riley just emulated him with his Knicks teams.

I'm amazed that a lot of folks forget that Daly's Pistons started this trend and place the blame on Riley.

not really.......physical basketball was always played b4 then, the Pistons just glamorized it.
