Will Cavs make the playoffs?
I say yes, 7th seed. Basically they lost Boozer and replaced him with Gooden. I would say that equals 4-5 wins less this year. Still good enough for the playoffs.37Yes!0%20No!0%11Playoffs.....Playoffs!?(Mora voice)0%6PSN: christophertoyTags: None -
Re: Will Cavs make the playoffs?
Yes, the Cavaliers will make the Playoffs, and maybe win in the first round, depending on what seed they get. Gooden has been playing some hardcore basketball over the past week, and has been a banger down low. I don't think the Cavs will miss Boozer, and they have only gotten deeper on the bench. I see them making a playoff push, and maybe landing at 6.

Nope.
Too shaky down low. I don't trust Z to play an entire season and Boozer gave them so much last year. Gooden is stronger outside rather than inside IMO.
LeBron will have to score BIG in their wins.
I don't think they're ready just yet.Comment

Z hasn't had any foot problems for a while. Frankly, I like our chances this year for the same reason as the other Cavaliers fans above: there's more depth. Now we don't have to rely on Ira Newble to scoreOriginally posted by bigeastbumrush^^

when the starters are takin a breather.
It'll be close, but I think they'll get the 7 or 8 seed.Comment

Re: Will Cavs make the playoffs?
Nah, I'm watching Nets/Knicks right now.Originally posted by wtferrellBigeast, you watching the game? Gooden is having his way down low, and Z is looking better than last year. Of course, you'll never know until the season plays out, but right now their chances are looking pretty good.
Boozer was a huge loss man. They shot poorly and he boarded. Easy putbacks, high FG%. Can Gooden replace that, I don't know.
I just have to ask myself can the Cavs consistently compete with-
Detroit, Indy, Miami, the Bucks, NY, Philly, Boston and NJ, all of whom have veteran teams? We'll see.Comment
