Honestly, I didn't expect the games to be close but that was because I slept on every other country outside of Spain and France.

Simple is this, this team is playing down their competition. trying to make a great play, instead of a smart play.

Boogie was getting beat left and right by Jokic, and the dude that fouled out. Deandre was doing a much better job, Dray was useless.

All those fouls definitely ruined the tempo, but it was clear, Serbia's off ball movement was way better then the US's. When the Serbs got US in a half court game, it got ugly. We should have went to OT at the least, lucky Bog missed two good looks at the end.

Can also definitely see the lack of chemistry between our guys out there too. Not that it's an excuse because we shouldn't be having these close games.

Prior to the games starting, I went back and watched some games from from the Redeem Team and that London squad and I do see some similarities between those teams and this team, especially in regards to a lot of ISO Ball and lack of ball movement within the Offense. Which I should expect considering the style of ball K has us playing in which we're built to get out and run.

But even still, with the last two teams playing that style, they were still making the smart play as you said. This team, I don't and haven't really seen it much so far.

Said early on if they aren't running they look bad and that's still the case.


Definitely not plsying well together in the half court and not as overwhelming as the previous teams of course
