Their talent carried them to this victory, even though Venezuela did a good job of slowing it down and trying to make it as "ugly" as possible.

Heard the coach of Venezuela say if you let them run it's over, so the coaches know what to do, execution is a big problem of course.

86 combined starts in the NBA this year against five bona-fide stars in the league. And that's just the starters. Take away Bogut and the US has more All-Star Appearances combined than their four starters have NBA starts this season. And after them, the Aussies fall off the cliff to... Bairstow and a bunch of non-NBA talent.

Don't get me wrong, the Aussies have a lot of talent and we'll need to be on our game to win, but this has me doing this:

The other motivation at least for Melo is that, he will be able to be the all time Team USA scoring champ passing up LeBron James by scoring 11 points in this game against Australia.

Spain lost two games by a combined 3 points. They are missing Marc Gasol badly. They might be done as well. Australia is looking good in this tournament.
