He gets hated on for no reason...Injuries are a part of the game..Yes he does get injured a bit,but he's still a top 15 player in the league and he doesn't deserve the type of grief he's been getting...Without him, the Raptors would be nothing right now...
WTF? I'm from Toronto and the fans don't hate him. We're pissed off at the way he handled his sh*t. I've always been a Vince fan... I defended him when he went through his injuries, when everyone else was calling him a punk, or saying that he's a quitter, he's soft, and he has no heart. I was always the first to stand up for him and say "Injuries are the norm, he's just unlucky". Then he demanded the trade like a lil b*tch. and he finally showed me his true colours.... he really was a punk. Only punk's do that kind of crap.

You say that he's a top 15 guy in the league... according to who? His stats? Screw stats. GMs around the league don't want anything to do with him. I can think of 25 guys off the top of my head who I'd rather have on my team more than VC. He doesn't deserve any of the grief? You're kidding me..... he deserves every little bit. I'm still a fan of his game (when he actually plays) but i'm not gonna back him up anymore. He's a punk.

I'm ready to start watching international ball. Why would I waste my time watching an inferior form of basketball(NBA).

“And I think the reason people try to get him to do those things is because he's got the talent to do it. Vince has something, Chris Bosh has something that a lot of people don't have — God given talent.”

Too bad Vince lacks the heart to truly be the player he SHOULD be. If he had just HALF the heart that Iverson has, or even his teammate Alvin Williams has, he'd be unstoppable.

Too bad Iverson doesn't know how to get his teammates involved. He'd rather jack up 40 shots a night and shoot 40% from the field, then act like a jackass towards his coaches.

sounds good. I don't know why the NBA won't run the games by international rules, though. Probably cuz it will expose some of their "star" players.

I can understand your frustration..But i'd proll demand a trade too if i had to work for guys like Richard Peddie. You can udnertsand VC's frustrationwhen he doesn't get much help from management.

And sure there are some things that i dislike about him.He does get lazy on D,settles for the J too much, but when he's on there is no SG in te league besides KB8 that can match him...check his stats when we were trying to make a final playoff push..dude was avg almost 30 a game...

maybe i defend him cause i've been a fan of his since he was a heel.I just think that he gets hated on way too much compared to other players...

real "star" players would flourish...all that would expose would be the flawed systems kids go through before they reach the L...it wasnt so much the rules that exposed Dwade, lebron, etc, it was the familiarity that the international players had with the rules. If the NBA adapted international rules (and widened the court) the game would be much better, plus everyone would be adapting the rules at the same pace, so refs and players alike could ease into the rules. That said, im not one of those guys who is down on the nba, conversely, i love the league, i dont think the game is suffering at all. It could be better though....

...And VC is hated on for nothing....I hope he comes back with a vengeance this season, or after hes traded.
